Show Site

The Purina Event Center is a state-of-the-art indoor facility designed to host a variety of canine activities from conformation shows to performance events like obedience, agility, and rally . It opened in 2010 on the Purina Farms property giving visitors a chance to see some of the most prestigious dog shows in the country year-round. The building will accommodate our Breed Ring, the Obedience & Rally Ring, Agility Course, grooming, vendors, silent auction, raffle, ERSA's Booth, and MAESSR's Booth. Here is a link to explore the Purina Events Canter a bit, and a map of the Farm.

Grooming

Grooming will be in a room directly adjacent to the Show Ring area. There will be dedicated spaces, and each will have the ability to have electric. Bathing facilities are provided in an area of that room.

Specific grooming reservations will be required in order to ensure an orderly setup. A grooming reservation form is available under order form, above.

Parking, Canopies and Tents

Parking is permitted on asphalt and gravel lots only.

Canopies and exercise pens are permitted on and around parking areas. We ask that exhibitors be considerate of others and use only the minimal space they require.

Crating

Crating is allowed ringside 15 minutes prior and 15 minutes after the scheduled class in which handlers and their dogs are competing.

Waste

Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. This includes properly disposing of waste and using designated relief areas and the public x-pen area on the East side of the Gateway Hall for all elimination needs.

Designated stations throughout the facility should be used appropriately (i.e. watering station should not be used for waste or other materials).
